Based on Hungarian reality.
In a large part of Hungary, the back of road signs are marked with "NOT ALUMINUM" stickers, a measure aimed at reducing the theft of signs. A section of the country's population lives in considerable poverty, for whom the delivery of signs to scrap yards could also be a source of income.
I wanted to draw attention to this absurd phenomenon and the social problem it raises, by amplifying and twisting this gesture. The social situation that can be traced back to this phenomenon depends to a large extent on the decisions taken in this regard by the country's top leaders. I wanted to reflect on this with a group of stickers placed opposite the Hungarian Parliament (third series of pictures).
